Aisha Jamila Hinds is a famous American actor. Her most well-known role is the roles she played on the TV show The Shield, and True Blood. Since her appearance on the show in 2003 she has displayed her ability to act in a variety of roles by making outstanding appearances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Her performance in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to grab her notice. Her role in the biographical film All the Way as the feminist advocate Fannie Lou Hammer attracted her into the limelight of the world at large. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The series has been renewed for a third season, thanks to 20th Century Fox Television. Hind was recently shot the Hollywood feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
